    This book contains units related to the themes in the curriculum and every unit consists of several lessons. In each lesson there are exercises to develop the student’s four language skills, namely, speaking, reading, listening and writing and also to enrich the students’ knowledge of language like grammar and vocabulary.
    The author fully realizes that this book is not free from various weaknesses, for that she would be very glad to receive and critics for the improvement and the betterment of this book. May Allah repay for all their good deeds. Amin.

Dear Angie,
    This is my first letter to you. You want to know about my school. Right? Let me tell you a little. My school is a secondary school or SMP. It is SMP 5. It is on Jl. Radjiman. It is a big new building and it has a lot of rooms. Eighteen rooms are for the students, one room is for the headmaster, another is for the teachers, another more is library, and three other rooms are for language, computer and science laboratories. We have eight toilets, one is for the headmaster, two are for the teachers, and the rest are for four hundred and thirty two students.
    Our school starts at 7.00 and finishes at 13.30. The students are very active and diligent. I am in Class 7A and my classroom is in front of the library. During the break I play with my friends in the school yard. We have forty one teachers and three of them are English teachers. English is my favorite lesson.

2.       Mengungkapkan permintaan maaf (Apologize)

 

B.   Langkah-LangkahPembelajaran

Metode: pembelajaran CTL (Contextual  Teaching  and Learning)  adalah  pembelajaran yang di mulai dengan sajian atau tanya jawab lisan yang terkait dengan materi ungkapan-ungkapan meminta maaf (Apologizing)

1. Pendahuluan

a.    Guru mengucapkan salam, membaca doa sebelum belajar, pembiasaan juzama, mengecek kehadiran siswa, setelah itu menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan tekhnik penilaian.

2. Kegiatan Inti

a.     Menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yang akan dipelajari adalah di dalam LKS/Modul halaman 6(Task 1-2)

b.    Menyemangati para peserta didik untuk mempelajari, dan mendengarkan rekaman cara pengucapan kata-kata tentang materi ungkapan meminta maaf, berulang- ulang sampai paham (Task 1)

c.     Peserta didik melengkapi dialog yang kosong dengan ungkapan yang telah disediakan (Task 2)

3. Kegiatan Penutup

a.     Membaca doa setelah belajar dan penguatan kepada peserta didik untuk tetap #stayathome sesuai protokol covid-19
