Bismillahirahmanirrahim

Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَـالَمِيْنَ وَبِهِ نَسْتَعِيْنُ عَلَى أُمُوْرِ الدُّنْيَـا وَالدِّيْنِ وَالصَّـلاَةُ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلىَ سَـيِّدِ المُرْسَـلِيْنَ مُحَـمٍّد وَعَلَى اَلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِيْنَ .

 رَبِّ اشْـَرحْ لِي صَـدْرِيْ وَيَسِّرْلِي أَمْـِريْ وَاحْلُلْ عُقْـدَةً مِنْ لِسَـانِي يَفْقَـهُ قَـوْلِي …..أَمَّـا بَعْد

 

Honorable ones: the juries, the participants of English Speech Contest, and all audiences.

            First of all, let’s thank to Allah SWT the creator of the whole world. Who has given us mercy and blessing, so we can meet together in this place. And also don’t forget to deliver sholawat and salam to our prophet Muhammad SAW.

            I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rifaldi.

Ladies and Gentlemen

            In this occasion, I would like to give a speech about “Cleanliness in School”. Cleanliness is very important in our life from all the aspects. Practice of cleanliness starts from the home and school from the very little age.

            School is a place where one can learn so many things. It helps the students to grow up into a responsible person. Every day the students spend a lot of time in school for learning and playing.

            If our school is clean there is motivation for students to be clean, even if they are naturally messy at home. School is a place where we learn things and pick up good habits.

            Having a clean school also encourages students to actually attend the school. When the school is clean, students will know that they are unique and special enough to be given the chance to attend such a clean school.            

            The responsibility of keeping our school clean belongs to all of us, not just the custodial staff. There are so many ways that we can do to clean up our school environment. The first is we have to get used to disposing the rubbish in its place. Do not be lazy just to take out the trash. The second is we must optimize the picket duty which had been made - even if necessary, students who don’t do picket should be punished. Cleaning class every day before class begins will make us comfortable in learning. The last is we have to work together to clean up our school environment by cleaning up each corner of our school such as toilets, school yards and gutters.

            Cleanliness is half of faith. Therefore let us keep our school cleanliness in order to create a healthy and comfortable environment.

            Finally let’s pray we can do all of them for our better lives.
